In this workshop you will learn the technique of Hormone Yoga Therapy developed by Dinah Rodrigues www.dinahrodrigues.com, and taught by Katharine Hansen HYT RMT. Katharine was certified by Dinah in 2012 and has developed her teaching of the practice to many women over the past 2 years. She is a Certified Hormone Yoga Therapist, Cranio-sacral therapist and Certified Coach specialising in women’s health and wellness with many years experience and love of working with women and children.
The day is enjoyable and nurturing as learning is interspersed with relaxation and visualisation practices and sharing of information on natural remedies, therapies and experiences that have helped us through the changing cycles of our lives as women. There will be a guest speaker while we digest lunchJ to talk about some aspect of women’s health. You will receive a full illustrated sequence and a written description of all the techniques and postures for ease of practice at home.
The workshop includes a phone consultation with Katharine beforehand. This is for you to ask any questions, talk confidentially and ensures the suitability of the practice for you. The mandatory ‘preliminary health check’ as she calls it, was established by Dinah, recognising that HYT is a powerful and effective practice that isn’t suitable for everyone (see below). It also gives additional support and personal guidance for practice.
BENEFITS OF HORMONE YOGA THERAPY

Active Endometreosis, History of hormone dependent Breast or Uterine Cancer, Large fibroids (check with me first), Advanced Osteoporosis.
